even do the result of making mistakes is no fun, the problem is there is no magical phrase or formula to turn the wrong right immediately to correct the problem, now i guess i can be a little more confident that to make the wrong right is going to take time and that i shouldn't be afraid. what i got to do is set a goal for what i want or in other words plan ahead the results instead of just hoping for a miracle. thank you Anth, for showing us the lead to the rode to be more personal control.

Hi Monet,

You are not alone many people seem to believe that making a mistake is abad thing, still having compnay doesn't always make it easier does it.

Have you ever considered that the reson you've been feeling bad is because you haven't fully grasped that successful people are very often those who are most willing to make mistakes, because they know that they will always learn and grow from the result. Take lok at the autobiography of any successful person and you will see that they built their usccess on a track record of learning from their mistakes.

In fact without making mistakes there can be no learning, once you begin to understnad this more fully don't be too susprised if you start to value making mistakes becuase this means you are taking action and learning and this can only be a good thing, don't you agree?

All the best,

I wrote in my diary a long time ago that I was indecisive, and I am just realizing why. It does feel bad to make a mistake. I am trying to move pass that because I feel like I am on the verse of a break through. It's like the universe is guiding me to my best life.

Thanks, I look forward to your e-mail everyday.

It's starting to come together for me, Anth. Yesterday I really took on board the procedure for goalsetting, wrote a to do list and checked to ensure each step was specific, achievable, realistic, inspirational (not all, damn - it's the mundane tasks that I most procrastinate over!) Most useful was that each task was written down and measured by completion time.

At the end of every task the list was reviewed and it was such a satisfying feeling to see the tasks ticked complete. Today's tip to decide which come first..well perhaps get the mundane out of the way so I can enjoy the challenges.

Thanks - Keep the ideas coming

Thanks for the good, concrete posts.

My motto is - I may not succeed, I may not do it perfectly, but what I can do is try -
This has helped me get over the fear of failure and of making mistakes, but I'm finding lately that I want to up it a notch - Not just to try, but to try to achieve something fairly demanding of myself, while maintaining a strong sense of the kind of person I want to be - a sense of integrity.

Thanks again -

I do hope I can make this work. I would love it to work. Perhaps it is working already and I haven't noticed; small steps and all that.
Thanks for the good words.

Thanks for this Anth; I have procrastinated over a lot of decisions in my life and I hate to think what it's cost me. I'm going to work on changing this after reading this article.

More on overcoming procrastination please!!!

Thank you,
